The Big City Read

We Are The Groves & The Big City Read – a celebration event.

We are delighted to be part of The Big City Read with Explore York. This year’s book is Kate Atkinson’s ‘Behind the Scenes at the Museum’ that features, based on her experience, The Groves, York.

Join us at the event to –

• Hear a reading of the first chapter and receive a free copy of the book.

• Watch out storytelling walk from the comfort of your chair, and listen to stories from people of The Groves, past and present.

• And find out more about Heritage Hunters, an exciting new project that York Museums Trust are launching to research the history of The Groves.
